There's only grace:

Such truth reflects in the simplest of phrases. How rich are those that possess a deep simplicity in their words. When all material things are stripped away, and you are left with only love for your creator there is a great appreciation for a real love. Not some Hollywood script, with a boy meets girl typical plot.

God calls, and your ears cause your hand to drop, your soul to be filled, and you simply breathe.

Coming to a realization that all those tangible items do nothing for you, that true love has dwelt inside of you in the form of your creator. Inner peace.

Love has no face but is one hundred percent spirit. “The Broken Roads” as mentioned by Selah lead us to that tangible beauty. That begins with God. He is our Alpha and Omega and with us every step of the way. Never leaving us through our struggles but building us through them. As the sun sets behind the mountains, the sky is so eloquently painted with shades of blues, and contrasted with orange hues that gently blend to form a soft pink.

As I look with my eyes at the art of our creator it causes me to pause and appreciate his majesty. In a sunset, or a child’s smile, and their innocent eyes how great is our Lord!

To know that it is a precious gift to simply live, no regrets! Each day a blessing from Jesus Christ, teach me Father as I seek you, one blessing at a time. I walk by faith, knowing no matter how difficult that you are my rock, my comfort, my shield, my salvation. Praise be to you Father.

As far as I know, the following quote isn't one of Jesse's favorites. It was shared with me by a very dear cousin from Australia (Miche Khoury). When I read it, my first thoughts were of my J-Boy:

A favorite poem (The Dash)

The Dash

I read of a man, who stood to speak,
at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone,
from the beginning, to the end.

He noted that first came her date of birth,
and spoke the following date with tears,
but he said what mattered most of all,
was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time,
that she spent alive on earth...
and now only those who loved her,
know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own;
the cars... the house... the cash.
What matters is how we live and love,
and how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard...
are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left,
that can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough,
to consider what's true and real,
and always try to understand,
the way other people feel.

Be less quick to anger,
and show appreciation more,
and love the people in our lives,
like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect,
and more often wear a smile,
remembering that this special dash,
may last only a little while.

So, when your eulogy's being read,
with your life's actions to rehash,
would you be proud of the things they say,
about how you spent your dash?

JC Seriously this is not something I aim to do everyday and it may take some time for me to respond, so ladies no getting upset when I don't write like you think I should Thas just me! I am a Returning Student and just looking to see what is in the ocean of people that surrounds us all. Everyone: TD Jakes, Mya Angelo, Simon Cowell, Abraham Lincoln, Da Vinci, Moses, Abraham, Issac, Jacob, David, Paul :But for Today a person who is sincere, not full of greed, and not focused on them self 100% of the day, because there is nothing in these Character traits that is beneficial. It's Hard to find real people, Many are lost and think they are being real But you one must know who they are from the inside out, and it all starts with you!

GENERAL:

Music is the essential no matter the mood there is a music that fits into it, like fluid poetry it soothes the soul. Art, Nature: has a presence that is a beauty of it's own. The way so much life works to support one another, there is much we can learn from nature and it's design.

MUSIC:

Rock, RNB, Soul, Jazz, Swing A touch of classical but it must have rhythm. Some of the many Favorites include but do not exclude: Led Zepplin, Sam Cooke, S.R.V., Clapton, Cream, D.C.Talk, Audio Adrenaline, Rich Mullins, Jim Brickman, Michael Buble, Boney James, old School Rap like LL Cool J, Parliment with PFunk thats the Good stuff a lttle funky and always havin rhythm. Fresh beat to get you out the seat on floor where can move dem feet.

MOVIES:

They must have Depth! Something different not like all the action movies where the typical hero comes to save the day, Hollywood has placed those into an overkill file. Hero is a very good film with an intriguing story and artistic influence. Rose Red written by Stephen King, The Da Vinci Code was thought provoking, Gladiator, Braveheart, The Passion. A film where you are able to see and experience the Directors emotion are the most rewarding for an audience to watch.
